Gianni Versace. The first collection signed by the designer went to the catwalk at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan in March 1978. The designer was able, with a rare capacity of great synthesis and rigour, to become unique and recognizable. Even in his brand’s innovation, Medusa’s head brought reminders of Greek mythology.
